"A BODY OF WORK" is a study in frailty

For some time now my work has been strongly influenced by the frail character of our existence. I feel compelled to make work that lasts but am reassured in the knowledge that everything unavoidably breaks down in time. In "A Body of Work" I return to a larger format, work that is static and not meant to be worn. It's a consoling thought that despite my objects inherent stillness every outer influence will still contribute to their drawn out decay, that nothing lasts forever.
